Hi, I'm Oakley!

I came to ADL when I was just a tiny puppy with my mom and all my siblings, and one by one, they each found their forever homes. Somehow, I'm still waiting for mine.

I have a big heart and an even bigger love for treats. If you've got snacks, we're already off to a good start. I also love belly rubs, cuddle sessions, and splashing around in the water whenever I get the chance.

I've lived with other dogs and even kittens before, so I know how to be a good roommate. I can be a little nervous when meeting new people, and sometimes that means I bark to let everyone know I'm feeling unsure. But give me a little patience, a few treats, and some kind words, and you'll quickly see what a sweet boy I really am.

I've spent almost my entire life waiting for someone to choose me. Maybe it's because my family is still out there looking for me.
