Hello, my name is Hugo, and I'm a bit shy around new people, especially in the kennel here at the shelter. But don't let that fool you! With just a bit of patience and understanding, I'll show you that I'm a social boy who loves attention and learning new things.

I just want to please my humans, but I do get a bit nervous around too many new people, so a quiet, low-traffic home would be ideal for me. I'm sure I'll warm up to you in no time, and once I do, I'll shower you with love and affection.

I think it would be best for me to have another friendly dog in the home to show me the ropes and help me build my confidence. I'm a quick learner and love to play, so having a furry friend to romp around with would be fantastic!
