Meet Henry—a 7-year-old Akita mix, who came into ADL’s care on March 17, 2016. When Henry was brought to ADL by a good Samaritan he was noticeably ill, coughing and wheezing. ADL veterinarians thoroughly examined Henry, and promptly diagnosed him with heart failure secondary to advanced heartworm disease. Bubbles is a 1 year old, female, Terrier mix who is currently being treated in the Animal Defense League Veterinary Hospital. ADL has confirmed with Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine that Bubbles’ has Transmissible Venereal Tumors—or TVTs. We highlighted Bubbles’ case to bring awareness to this disease. Señor was found as a stray by a good Samaritan who brought him to ADL. When Señor came to our shelter, he could hardly open his eyes, was missing lots of fur, had irritated skin, and was obviously not feeling well. After receiving an examination from our veterinarian team, it turned out Señor had severe dermatitis, ear mites,  fleas, a broken tooth, and hair loss from sarcoptic mange. Meet Adorable Molly

Molly is a loving young pup who came to ADL on June 9, 2018. She had horrible wounds across her back with fur missing and raw skin exposed. Our staff at the hospital have been treating her wounds and have been providing lots of love to help Erin heal as soon as possible.
