ADL will be performing limited feral cat sterilizations on Wednesdays and Thursdays
Please note: For the remainder of May and June we will update when we have surgery spots available.
We apologize for any inconveniences that this may cause. Thank you.
ADL will be performing sterilizations for trappers who have attended the SAFCC’s TNR Class. ADL will verify all SAFCC attendees. The fee to sterilize a feral cat is reduced to $25 regardless of sex and all surgeries include a rabies vaccine, FVRCP vaccine and ear notch. Each cat or kitten must arrive in a humane trap (covered with a towel or sheet, one cat per trap). Feral cats brought in pet carriers will NOT be accepted. ADL will be accepting 10 cats per day, with a limit of 2 cats max per trapper. Community cats are accepted at a first come first serve basis. Dates may be subject to change.
Trappers must enter through the hospital lobby for drop off and pick up.
Drop off is at 8:30AM and pick up occurs same day at 4:00PM. The hospital closes at 5:00PM therefore, all cats MUST be picked up by 5:00PM or late fees may be charged.
The Animal Defense League reserves the right to accept any community cat our team deems friendly and adoptable in efforts to provide loving, indoor housing options to better their health and increase their lifespan.
Traps can be rented from our Adoption Center located at 11300 Nacogdoches Road, subject to availability. A $100 refundable deposit is required to rent the trap, and the price to rent is just $1/day. Please call (210)655-1481 ext. 100 for questions related to renting traps/availability.
