Hi, I'm Lucy-and I'm ready for my fresh start.
I survived distemper, and now that I'm feeling better, I'm learning what it means to just be a dog. It's all still a little new to me, but I'm taking things one step at a time and discovering that life can be pretty sweet.
I can be shy around new people, but a little baby talk helps me feel more comfortable. With some patience and gentle encouragement, I start to open up-and I'm even learning to enjoy being petted. Every day, I get a little braver.
I love toys, and treats are a big motivator for me. They help me build confidence and keep things fun while I learn about the world around me.
