Have you adopted from the Animal Defense League of Texas? Now through September 20, 2021, we invite you to share the big and small ways that your adopted pet has changed your life for the better and your story could help ADL receive up to $100,000 in funding through The Petco Foundation’s Love Stories Campaign!
YOU could make a huge impact on ADL’s lifesaving efforts!
- Applicant must be 18 years or older or have parental consent to complete an application
- The pet featured in the story must currently be living
- In 500 words or less, tell us how your pet changed your life – big and small – for the better!
- Your Petco Love Story should tell the story of how your adopted pet brightens your life rather than simply reciting facts as they happened. Quality storytelling and supporting photos/videos will make your submission stand out from the others! Visit the Love Stores webpage to view winning stories from prior years that represent quality storytelling and showcase great media assets.
- A photo of your pet with you and/or your pet’s human family is required
- A photo of your pet by him/herself is required
- Two additional photos are required to help support your Love Story

Winners will be announced during the holiday season. Winning adopters will receive a Petco shopping spree, BOBS from Skechers shoes and ADL will receive up to $100,000 in lifesaving grant awards!
