City of San Antonio’s 10 districts!
Eligibility & Fees
Free services are available with a valid ID showing residency within the City of San Antonio (COSA) limits. Residents of Bexar County who live outside COSA may receive services for a $25 fee.

💉 What’s Included in Surgery
- Spay/neuter procedure
- Rabies vaccine
- FVRCP vaccine
- Ear notch (to identify as sterilized)
📋 Important Guidelines
- Cats/kittens must arrive in a humane trap (covered with a towel/sheet, one cat per trap). Cats in carriers will NOT be accepted.
- Limit: 3 cats per trapper.
- First-come, first-served. Dates may be subject to change.
- Trappers must check in at the hospital lobby for both drop-off and pick-up.
🕗 Schedule
- Drop-off: 8:00–8:30 AM
- Pick-up: 3:30–4:00 PM (must be picked up by 5:00 PM to avoid late fees)
🔧 Trap Rentals/Purchases
- Available to rent at our Adoption Center (11300 Nacogdoches Road)
- $150 refundable deposit + $1/day rental
