Tom Tom’s Story

Meet Tom Tom!
Through our partnership with the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services (ACS), we transferred Tom Tom into our shelter to find out what exactly was wrong with his leg. Our veterinarian team took x-rays and discovered that Tom Tom’s leg was so badly broken that it unfortunately needed to be amputated. Tom Tom did well through the surgery and had a successful recovery!
Tom Tom is a sweet-natured kitty who loves attention and chin rubs. Within three days of being available for adoption, he was going home! He was adopted from our second location, the Paul Jolly Center for Pet Adoptions. Tom Tom is an easy cat to fall in love with so it’s no surprise that he quickly won the heart of his adopter.
Our partnership with ACS allows us to help pets like Tom Tom stay off the streets. Your donations help us provide the additional medical care that the cats and dogs at our shelter need. Consider making a donation today to help the next Tom Tom make the journey home!
You donation will make a greater impact during Big Give SA on March 22nd. Donate before Midnight to help ADL reach our goal of $15,000 for our pets!
