Champion was brought to the Animal Defense League by a Good Samaritan after he was hit by a car. At just a few months old, Champion was having difficulty breathing and was in extreme distress. Our medical team quickly realized that Champion’s lungs had collapsed due to a build-up of air around his lungs and they couldn’t expand to allowing Champion to breathe properly.
