In an effort to help control the overpopulation of animals in our community, the Animal Defense League has designed a special program, Feline Fridays, by spaying and neutering our community’s owned and feral cats. The first 30 owned cats by appointment and 30 feral cats will be accepted for surgery on each specific Feline Friday Day; 60 cats in all!
For Owned Cats: The first 30 owned cats with a previously made appointment with ADL will be accepted. Please call 210-655-1481, ext. 104 or 112 to schedule an appointment. All pets must be in a humane carrier. These fees will apply for owned cats: $50 for Males and $70 for Females. A rabies vaccine or proof that your cat has been vaccinated against rabies will be required prior to the cat being taken in for surgery. If the pet is not vaccinated against rabies or proof is not provided, pets will be vaccinated by ADL and the pet owner will be charged $20 per rabies vaccination that is administered. The first 30 owned cats, with an appointment, will be accepted between 7am and 9am. Pickup occurs on the same day between 4pm and 5pm.
For Feral Cats: The first 30 feral cats will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
