The Power of Giving…
The Animal Defense League is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. ADL operates on the generosity and kindness of
friends who believe in our mission – providing food, shelter, medical care and love to abandoned, abused and neglected dogs and cats and puppies and kittens. We receive no government or public funding and must rely on fundraising, grants and donations to continue our service to these homeless and helpless fur babies.
Your donation makes a substantial and immediate impact on the lives of these animals, and we appreciate every dollar that comes to us. Please consider making a donation to help us!
All donations are 100% tax deductible, and you will receive a receipt that you can use to document your donation on your taxes. You may view our 501c3 status by selecting our 501c3 Letter from the IRS, and if you require our W-9 Form, select ADL W-9 form.
Support the Thrift Shoppe with a Donation!
If you are due for a spring-cleaning, please consider the ADL Thrift Shoppe! Bag, box or load up those “gently” used items that you no longer need and bring them to ADL to donate any time that we are open, 7 days a week, 10:00am – 6:00pm. All items with the exception of clothing and computer equipment are accepted.
For your convenience, ADL has a donation station right next to our Adoption Center at 11300 Nacogdoches Rd.
Simply drive up and drop off your items there. If you need any assistance, come into our Adoption Center and staff will gladly help you. You may also come to our Thrift Shoppe on Fridays and Saturdays and drop off your donated items there. The Shoppe is located at 11215 Iota Dr. (right on the corner of Iota Dr. and Nacogdoches Rd.). Your donation to the ADL Thrift Shoppe directly benefits ADL’s furry residents, with 100% of all proceeds going directly towards the care of all animals being housed at our shelter and towards the fulfillment of ADL’s mission of saving lives.

Many families are now choosing to have friends and family make donations to a charity in lieu of flowers upon the death of a loved one. If you choose to do that, we will send a memorial card to whomever you choose to let them know of your thoughtfulness.
Also, you can honor a special day for friends and family by making a gift in honor of them. Many of our donors honor birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, pet adoptions, etc. with a gift. We will send an acknowledgment card to whomever you choose so they know of your donation.
You can make a tax deductible donation via your credit card processed through GiveDirect. With GiveDirect credit card processing service, no fees are taken on your Visa or Mastercard donation. We receive 100% of your gift. A low fee of 2.85% is deducted from American Express Donations. GiveDirect will be the name that will appear on your statement. You can go to the donation page by clicking HERE or on the image below.
You are always welcome to make a donation at our Adoption Center. You may also print out the following PDF form to mail or fax to Nicole Flores’ attention at (210) 655-4498, ext 117. Feel free to email Nicole at nflores@adltexas.org.
