Hey there! I'm Maverick, and boy, do I have quite the story to tell! First, I was abandoned at a city park, which was pretty scary. Luckily, some nice people helped me out, and eventually, I made my way to ADL.

Once I got here, I was feeling pretty crummy, and it turned out I had the distemper virus! Thankfully, I've got a fighting spirit, and I was able to make it through that tough disease. Now, I'm just over being stuck in a kennel, as you can imagine!

So, when you walk by and see me, I might not look my best or seem the nicest, but that's just because I'm tired of being cooped up. Take me for a walk outside the kennel, and you'll see what a cool little dog I am and how much fun we can have together!

I do need someone who is patient and understanding that is ready to give me a chance. I promise to bring joy, adventure, and lots of fun to your life!
