ADL Happy Tails – Zuri
Categories: Happy Tails
All we wish for our pets was for them to spend the holidays and beyond with their new families and ADL Alumni, Stella, got just that!
Zuri, now Stella, was a shy girl who was found roaming the streets of San Antonio and required some time to warm up to new people in the shelter setting. However, once she did, she was very sweet and loving! What her adopters loved the most about her was, even though she was very nervous and shy in the shelter, she was still showing signs of wanting to open up and be affectionate. They described it as instantly falling in love and they felt she chose them!
Stella’s new mom shared, “We love her with all of our hearts! She is the sweetest dog in the world. She has adjusted pretty quickly and potty trained very quickly!!! We are a big family of dog lovers so she got lots of love and seemed to be very happy and relaxed. Every day she opens up more and we are so grateful to have her in our family. My sister (Stella’s aunt) gave her the giraffe as a Christmas gift. She is also wearing a bandana that has the Puerto Rican flag printed on it. Michael (her dad) is from Puerto Rico and we got her the bandana so she knows her heritage. The second photo is Christmas Eve at my aunt’s house with Christmas gifts my aunt gave her. My whole family loves her so much! The third photo is her playing and me petting her. She is clearly VERY comfortable and happy! So are we. Again, thank you for helping us adopt our dream girl!!! Ps. In the last photo, she hugged me first.”
