Foster Intake Information
The Animal Defense League of Texas accepts new foster intakes based on available kennel space and our ability to place pets in foster homes until they reach the appropriate age and weight.
Tenga en cuenta lo siguiente: Due to high demand and limited space, not all foster intake requests can be accepted.
Before Your Appointment
While waiting for your foster intake appointment and exam:
- You are fully responsible for your pet’s care, including food, water, safety, and any medical needs.
- ADL is not responsible for the pet until ownership is transferred during the first intake exam.
- Any costs for treatment before intake cannot be reimbursed.
- ADL can only provide care for pets that have officially entered the foster program.
All incoming pets must be social with people y able to be safely handled by our foster team.
