Sebastian – Before & After

Sebastian is a 5 month old pup transferred from Animal Care Services to our shelter. We wanted to share his amazing before and after photos!

When this little guy arrived he was severely infested with ticks and fleas. This could have easily been prevented with monthly tick/flea preventatives. He had ticks scattered all over his body along with clusters of them under his legs, ears and feet. His hair was thinning and he was in obvious discomfort. Our veterinarian team quickly treated him with tick/flea preventatives, antibiotics to prevent infection, bathed him and gave him a thorough exam. We’re happy to say that Sebastian’s tail is now happily wagging because he is now free of ticks and fleas! He still has some scarring and thinning hair from where the ticks were but with time that should heal up. Sebastian is a little shy at first but it won’t take long for him to become the wiggly, playful and happy puppy that he is! He is more than ready to start his new life with a loving family and forever home of his own.
