Meet Noodle!

Noodle is just a small little puppy and has been diagnosed with carpal laxity syndrome, a deformity of the legs that primarily affects puppies. Puppies have fast growing bodies and go through growth spurts. When they have improper nutrients or are crated in a small area with little room to move their growing legs, they can develop this condition. With proper care and exercise, puppies can recover from this. Noodle is currently in foster care and we’re working with her to help her heal. Stay tuned as we provide updates on Noodle’s progress.
Week 1 with splints:
Dec. 4th update – It’s been a week since Noodle has been wearing splints and we’re happy to say that her condition is already improving! We’re giving Noodle one more week of wearing splints. Stay tuned as we provide updates on Noodle’s journey to recovery.
Week 2:
Dec. 13th update – Noodle is now down to one splint! Her left leg has improved immensely since last week. She still needs a little more time with a splint on her other leg. We will continue to update you on Noodle’s progress.
Recovery update:
Noodle has made an amazing improvement, and her legs are looking great! She doesn’t have to wear splints anymore and she’s growing up so fast. She has plenty of puppy energy and is using her legs with ease but still needs a little more time to build more strength in her legs. This strong and sweet puppy is on her way to recovery!
Congratulations, Noodle!
We’re happy to announce that Noodle has fully recovered! This playful pup found a home almost immediately after she was made available for adoption. Thanks to the help and support of our veterinarian team, Noodle’s legs are now strong and healthy. We want to send a huge congratulations to Noodle and her new family. We wish her the best!
