Once you register for an account, further instructions on how to complete your hours will be available.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Daily Commitment:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Volunteers must commit to a minimum shift from 9 AM \u2013 1:00 PM.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Dress Code:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To ensure safety and professionalism, all volunteers <strong>must dress appropriately<\/strong> for outdoor labor:<br \/>\n\u2714 <strong>Required:<\/strong> Sturdy, closed-toe shoes (e.g., work boots or sneakers).<br \/>\n\u2716 <strong>Not Allowed:<\/strong> Sandals, Crocs, shower shoes, yoga pants, jeggings, short shorts, skirts, halter tops, or tight-fitting clothing.<br \/>\n\u2716 <strong>Inappropriate prints:<\/strong> Clothing with offensive or inappropriate messages is not permitted.<br \/>\n<em>Failure to adhere to the dress code will result in dismissal for the day.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Assigned Tasks:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Expect <strong>physical, outdoor labor<\/strong>, including <strong>landscaping, cleaning, painting, and general maintenance.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>You will get dirty.<\/strong> Dress accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Unless explicitly directed by staff, <strong>interaction with animals is not permitted.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Daily assignments may vary based on shelter needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Code of Conduct:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Volunteers <strong>must always<\/strong> conduct themselves respectfully with staff, fellow volunteers, and the public.<\/li>\n<li>Any inappropriate behavior may result in immediate dismissal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For any questions or concerns, please contact shelter staff.
