Take a look at our <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/adltexas.org\/volunteer\/volunteer-opportunities\/\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1209\" data-end=\"1237\">Volunteer Opportunities<\/a> to learn about the different departments and activities where you can make an impact.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1325\" data-end=\"1362\">Step 2: Sign Up for Orientation<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1549\">Ready to get started? Register for a new volunteer orientation session! After signing up, you\u2019ll receive a confirmation email with instructions to create your personal volunteer profile.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1551\" data-end=\"1734\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1553\" data-end=\"1734\"><em data-start=\"1553\" data-end=\"1585\">Junior Volunteers (Ages 12-15)<\/em> must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also a registered ADL volunteer. Both junior and adult volunteers must create their own profiles.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1736\" data-end=\"1994\">Orientations are offered at both of our ADL locations, with virtual options available upon request. This is a separate volunteer program with an orientation and activities geared for the kids!---><\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Ages 3-11: Pet Champions<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This is a great opportunity for younger pet advocates to learn about our life-saving mission, discover what responsible pet ownership entails, and spend time with our dogs and cats while volunteering with their parent\/s on campus. If attending orientation without a parent\/guardian, please download the <a href=\"https:\/\/adltexas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Volunteer-Waiver-5.1.2024.pdf\">waiver<\/a> and get it signed in advance.<\/p>\n<p>After completing 12 volunteer hours and additional training, volunteers aged 16-18 may participate in additional volunteer activities like dog walking and ADL Hospital assistance.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Ages 18+: General Volunteers<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>After completing additional training, volunteers aged 18 or older may assist in the ADL Hospital isolation and surgical areas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--Step Three: Bring $20 to the orientation for your official ADL Volunteer Tee Shirt!
