LOG INTO THE ONLINE VOLUNTEER PORTAL HERE

Volunteering is easy at the Animal Defense League of Texas! Our volunteers wear different hats and are crucial to successfully delivering our mission. From caring for dogs & cats to providing support at off-site events (and just about everything in between), volunteers of all ages make a real difference at ADL. Families, friends, retirees, teens, millennials, social groups – everyone is welcome!

How to Become an ADL Volunteer:

  • Minimum age to volunteer is 12. Volunteers 16 and older may volunteer on their own without a parent or legal guardian present. Children age 12 to 15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is also an ADL volunteer at all times.
  • Step One: Complete a Volunteer Application. It’s online and easy to do! Click HERE for the Volunteer Application.
  • Step Two: Attend a volunteer orientation. After submitting your application, login to the volunteer portal. Once there, use the calendar to claim a spot in one of our twice-monthly orientations. Orientation covers everything you need to know. Bring $20 to the orientation for your official ADL Volunteer Tee Shirt!
