One of the best kept secrets in San Antonio is the ADL Thrift Shoppe. Our shop is a trove of riches that could be YOUR newest treasures. If you have visited our Thrift Shoppe in the past and have not been out for a visit lately, you will be pleasantly surprised at the number of positive changes that have been made to the Shoppe. If you have never been to the ADL Thrift Shoppe, we invite you to come out and visit to see just how wonderfully the whole store is laid out and managed by the Thrift Shoppe’s GREAT volunteers! That missing item that you are looking for the home or for your pet may just be at our Thrift Shoppe.

You could also donate those items that are no longer needed by you, and make someone happy while you support the dogs and cats that we shelter. The ADL Thrift Shoppe is open every Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is located in the clinic parking lot at 11215 Iota Drive. Thank you to our great donors, new inventory comes in every day and is readied for the Friday and Saturday shopping days by ADL’s dedicated Thrift Shoppe Volunteer Staff! Because of the great donations that we receive every week, you never know what you are going find in our Shoppe! While you shop and find great bargains at our Thrift Shoppe, the great treasures that you purchase at bargain prices funds our mission to help save animal lives through rescues, public animal intakes, spay and neuter, adoptions, and so many other ways. Would You Like to Support the Thrift Shoppe with a Donation?
Is your garage getting a little full? What about other storage places in your home or do you have a few items that you are thinking of replacing? Well if you are due for a spring-cleaning, please consider the ADL Thrift Shoppe! Bag, box or load up those “gently” used items that you no longer need and bring them to ADL to donate any time that we are open, 7 days a week, 10:00am – 6:00pm. All items with the exception of clothing and computer equipment are accepted.

For your convenience, ADL has a donation station right next to our Adoption Center at 11300 Nacogdoches Rd. Simply drive up and drop off your items there. If you need any assistance, come into our Adoption Center and staff will gladly help you. You may come to our Thrift Shoppe and drop off your donated items there. The Shoppe is located at 11215 Iota Dr. (right on the corner of Iota Dr. and Nacogdoches Rd.). The items that you donate will help fuel the shelter’s operations and they may be tax deductible. Simply ask our Adoption Center staff.

More Donation Information
As shoppers, most of the things that we have purchased are things that others may at one point wanted to buy…and now may purchase from the ADL Thrift Shoppe because of your generosity. ADL also accepts working vehicles in good running condition. If you are considering making a donation or when making a donation to the ADL Thrift Shoppe, we ask that you help ADL maximize the value of each donation and provide “gently” used items to our Shoppe. We ask that you simply consider donating items that you would consider giving as a “present”. Items that are clean and in good working condition are always treasured by Thrift Shoppe staff…and of course our shoppers.

Your donation to the ADL Thrift Shoppe directly benefits ADL’s furry residents, with 100% of all proceeds going directly towards the care of all animals being housed at our shelter and towards the fulfillment of ADL’s mission of saving lives.
