We understand you might not be able to take one of ADL’s furry residents home … but you can still enjoy a wonderful connection through ADL’s Sponsor an Animal program.
You choose whether you would like to sponsor an adult dog or cat for a tax deductible donation of $125. Your sponsorship will last until your new pet friend is adopted. Your sponsorship donation is used to provide much needed help while we search for forever homes for all of our pets.
Your sponsorship includes a beautiful photo and and detailed note card (by mail or email) telling you more about your sponsored dog or cat; also, your name will be featured on ADL’s website within your sponsor friend’s profile for the duration of its stay here with us.
You can also give a sponsorship gift to honor a loved one, such as a spouse, or even your best furry friend, or in memory of any person or animal companion whose memory you wish to keep alive. A sponsorship would also make a wonderful gift for that special someone who has it all or a great gift for your animal loving friends who simply cannot have a pet at this time in their lives. With a sponsorship gift, the recipient of the sponsorship will receive the sponsorship information by email on their new furry friend.
Sponsorships can be another great way for your business or organization to been seen by any ADL visitor to our website.
There are several ways to become a part of the Sponsor an Animal Program: Enroll at our Adoption Center on campus, print out a Sponsorship Form and mail it to Animal Defense League, 11300 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, Texas, 78217 or email the sponsorship form to Rachel Taylor at rtaylor@adltexas.org.
The Animal Defense League is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. All donations are 100% tax deductible, and you will receive a receipt that you can use to document your donation on your taxes. You may view our 501c3 letter from the IRS and download our ADL W-9 form if needed.
